The AACAP Pilot Research Award for Attention Disorders, supported by the Elaine Schlosser Lewis Fund, offers $15,000 to general psychiatry residents, child and adolescent psychiatry fellows, and early career faculty who have an interest in beginning a career in child and adolescent psychiatry research. By providing up to two awards to a child and adolescent psychiatry early career faculty member, general psychiatry resident, or child psychiatry fellow for pilot or early-stage research on psychiatric conditions that involve attentional dysfunction and its downstream effects, we support young investigators at a critical stage, encouraging a future career in child and adolescent psychiatry research in these areas. The recipient has the opportunity to submit a poster presentation on their research for AACAP’s 2026 Annual Meeting in Atlanta, GA, October 26-31, 2026.
