AACR-Minorities in Cancer Research Jane Cooke Wright Lectureship

The AACR-Minorities in Cancer Research Jane Cooke Wright Memorial Lectureship was first presented in 2006. The lectureship is intended to give recognition to an outstanding scientist who has made meritorious contributions to the field of cancer research and who has, through leadership or by example, furthered the advancement of minority investigators in cancer research.

The recipient of the award will receive an honorarium of $5,000, give an award lecture during the AACR Annual Meeting 2020 in San Diego, California, and will be provided support for the winner and a guest to attend the AACR Annual Meeting 2020.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Candidacy is open to all cancer researchers who are affiliated with any institution involved in cancer research, cancer medicine or cancer-related biomedical science anywhere in the world. Such institutions include those in academia, industry or government.
  • The award will be presented to an individual investigator.
  • Institutions or organizations are not eligible for the award.
