AACR-SONTAG FOUNDATION BRAIN CANCER RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP

Funding Agency:
American Association for Cancer Research

The AACR-Sontag Foundation Brain Cancer Research Fellowship represents a joint effort to encourage and support a postdoctoral or clinical research fellow to conduct brain cancer research and to establish a successful career path in this field. The proposed project may be basic, clinical, translational, or epidemiological in nature and must have direct applicability and relevance to brain cancer. Applications from investigators with experience in other areas of cancer or biomedical research who have promising ideas or approaches that can be applied to brain cancer research are especially encouraged.

The fellowship provides a two-year grant of $120,000 to support the salary and benefits of the fellow while working on a mentored brain cancer research project. A partial amount of funds may be designated for non-personnel expenses, such as research/laboratory supplies, equipment, publication charges for manuscripts that pertain directly to the funded project, and other research expenses.

Deadline: Jan. 17, 2023
