The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to support interdisciplinary research to better understand the underlying mechanisms and interplay of biological, psychosocial, behavioral, and social structural factors contributing to oral health, mental health and co-occurring disorders in people living with HIV.
Althought this funding opportunity uses the R01 grant mechanism, it runs in parallel with a program announcement of identical scientific scope, RFA-DE-23-003, which uses the R21 grant mechanism.
