SebastianStrong Foundation is committed to finding less toxic cures for pediatric cancer. Since our founding, we have funded almost $3 million in research.
The Discovery Science Award is an annual research grant in the amount of $50,000 - $500,000, spread out over a 2-3 year period. PhD & MD researchers may submit early-stage, peer-reviewed projects, but they must be focused on a pediatric cancer. We seek bold ideas that use innovative methodologies and out-of-the box approaches. Project proposals that involve collaboration between researchers and/or research institutions will be seen as priorities.
