AFE-funded research solves scientific challenges posed by disease, pests, and other environmental issues. This research benefits not only growers but every segment of the industry down to the consumer.
There are three sources of funding for floriculture research through the American Floral Endowment.
- Fred C. Gloeckner Foundation Research Fund – Apply by April 1st each year.
- AFE Research Funding – Apply by August 1st each year.
- Gus Poesch Research Fund – Apply by August 1st each year.
