Graduate Student Fellowship Program
The Graduate Student Fellowship Program is designed to enable Ph.D. students in one country (the United States or Israel) to travel to the other country (Israel or the United States) in order to acquire new skills and techniques in their field of study. The exchange will promote collaboration between scientists of both countries and expose the student to the ongoing research in the other county in the area of his/her present and future research.
Deadline: Jan. 15, 2020
Ph.D. students who are citizens of either the United States or Israel and who wish to conduct research in the laboratory in the other country are eligible to apply.
The fellowship is intended to provide travel and modest living expenses to conduct the research in the host laboratory for a period of 3 to 6 months. The award is $1500 per month and $2000 to cover travel costs. In the event that the fellow is joined by dependants (spouse, child/ren), BARD will pay a onetime $2,000 dependant allowance.
