We thank you for considering the Foundation as a prospective partner in your work and encourage you to review the latest information on our web site regarding educated kids, healthy kids, secure families, racial equity, and community and civic engagement before beginning the application process. This will assist you in determining if/how your idea might be a fit with our current programming goals and objectives.
To be eligible for support, your organization or institution, as well as the purpose of the proposed project, must qualify under regulations of the United States Internal Revenue Services. As a result,we are not able to provide funding directly to individuals.
In general, we do not provide funding for operational phases of established programs, capital requests (which includes the construction, purchase, renovation, and/or furnishing of facilities), equipment, conferences and workshops, scholarships or tuition assistance, films, television and/or radio programs, endowments, development campaigns, or research/studies unless they are an integral part of a larger program budget being considered for funding.
As you might expect, we receive more requests each year than we are able to fund with our limited resources. We are not able to fund requests that do not fit our funding guidelines and/or focus on propelling and strengthening impoverished children through Kellogg Foundation programming goals and objectives.
The Kellogg Foundation does not have any submission deadlines. Grant applications are accepted throughout the year and are reviewed at our headquarters in Battle Creek, Michigan, or in our regional office in Mexico (for submissions focused within their region).
*Please note that the Kellogg Foundation sometimes requires VERY fast turnaround on full proposals.*
