Grants to Reduce Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault and Stalking on Campus Program

This program is authorized by 34 U.S.C. ยง 20125. The Grants to Reduce Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking on Campus Program (Campus Program) (CFDA# 16.525) provides funding for institutions of higher education to develop and strengthen effective security and investigation strategies to combat domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking on campus, develop and strengthen victim services in cases involving such crimes on campus, and develop and strengthen prevention education and awareness programs.  

OVW will consider only one application per institution. Interested applicants from within Duke should contact fundopps@duke.edu as early as possible.

Areas of Interest

In FY 2024, OVW has four programmatic priorities. The priority identified below is applicable to this program. Applicants are strongly encouraged, but not required, to address a priority area. Applicants that state that they are addressing the priority area and meet the criteria for that priority area will be given special consideration: Advance equity and tribal sovereignty as essential components of ending sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking by improving outreach, services, civil and criminal justice responses, prevention, and support for survivors from historically marginalized and underserved communities, particularly those facing disproportionate rates or impacts of violence and multiple barriers to services, justice, and safety. 

Eligibility Requirements

Eligible applicants are limited to: Institutions of higher education in the United States and  U.S. territories.

Amount Description

This program typically makes awards in the range of $300,000 - $400,000.
