The W.K. Kellogg Foundation (WKKF) is seeking proposals for an organization or consultant to conduct research and recommend a structure and framework for a mechanism to direct the voice of the Haitian diaspora in US and Haitian affairs, possibly including the establishment of a Haitian diaspora council. This will include:
- Researching formal and informal Haitian diaspora organizations and networks in the US.
- Conducting a needs assessment of how the Haitian diaspora can play a role in US-Haiti affairs, domestic issues affecting Haitians in the US, and in economic, political, and social issues in Haiti.
- Recommending an organizational structure, framework, start-up cost, and five-year projected budget for the proposed structure.
We intend to enter into a services contract, renewable by WKKF in its discretion based upon review of performance and other relevant factors. The selected organization or consultant will work closely with the Haiti and Policy Core Teams with support from other members of the International Team and other teams within the foundation. Please use haiti@wkkf.org for questions and more information.
Proposals are due via email on or before Friday, December 17, 2021, at 5:00 PM (EST).
