The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (MJFF) seeks to support work that can significantly contribute to a better understanding of the gene/protein leucine-rich repeat kinase 2 (LRRK2), its relevance to Parkinson’s disease (PD) and effective ways to translate LRRK2 research into therapies for patients. Applicants may submit a proposal focused on a relevant area of LRRK2 for consideration of a one-year, $125,000 award. Successful applicants will be granted membership in the MJFF LRRK2 Consortium, where they can share information, data and resources with other awardees of this and other MJFF LRRK2-related efforts.
