The Natural Resources Conservation Service -North Carolina, an agency under the United States Department of Agriculture, is announcing potential availability of funding for agreements for the purpose of leveraging NRCS resources to promote public awareness of Farm Bill activities throughout North Carolina. Proposals must be for projects based in North Carolina and focus on Farm Bill conservation. Research proposals or proposals that do not meet the needs will not be accepted, nor considered as part of this announcement.
Proposals will be accepted from eligible entities, including individuals, city or township governments, county governments, Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized), Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments), nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS (other than institutions of higher education), nonprofits that do not have a 501 (c)(3) status with the IRS (other than institutions of higher education), private institutions of higher education, Public and State-controlled institutions of higher education, and State governments for competitive consideration of awards for projects between 1 and five years in duration. The funding available for this announcement shall not exceed a total of $200,000.
