The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) seeks applications that demonstrate innovative strategies to create, expand, or enhance the use of technology to interact directly with crime victims or to provide information, referrals, crisis assistance, and long-term help. This program furthers the DOJ’s mission by supporting organizations that encourage the use of technology to improve responses, services, and access for victims of crime.
The goals of this program are to increase greater access to victim services and build the technological capacity of victim-serving organizations to meet the needs of crime survivors through innovative solutions and trauma-informed approaches.

Eligible Applicants: City or township governments, County governments, Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized), Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments), Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education, Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education, Private institutions of higher education, Public and State controlled institutions of higher education, State governments
An applicant entity may submit more than one application, if each application proposes a different project in response to the solicitation. Also, an entity may be proposed as a subrecipient (subgrantee) in more than one application.
