Philippines USAID-Manila -- Climate Resilient Cities Project

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications for a cooperative agreement from qualified entities to implement the Climate Resilient Cities project. Eligibility for this award is not restricted.

The Climate Resilient Cities (CRC) Project is a five-year activity in the Philippines that seeks to improve resilience by strengthening the adaptive capacities of cities to adapt to and manage the impacts of climate change. It will result in enhanced stakeholders’ knowledge on climate information for planning and decision-making; improved capacity to access and manage climate finance; and broadened adaptation and mitigation interventions to expand reach and impact. Through this cooperative agreement, the United States Agency for International Development Philippines (USAID/Philippines) looks to co-develop an activity to support the improvement of climate resilience in cities in the Philippines. The co-development/ collaboration workshop will take place after the award of the CRC Project. While the primary focus is on climate adaptation, this activity considers climate mitigation, natural climate solutions, and disaster risk reduction in the country as well.
