The purpose of the Regional Pediatric Pandemic Network Program is to expand and improve the nation's preparedness and response to better anticipate and address the unique needs of children and their families resulting from global health threats, such as pandemics, by supporting the inclusion, expertise and leadership of children's hospitals in local, regional and national public health system preparedness. The Regional Pediatric Pandemic Network (the “Network") will be comprised of five children's hospitals located in geographically diverse areas across the United States that work collaboratively across institutions to plan and implement the work of this cooperative agreement program.

MCHB will seek to limit eligible applicants to children's hospitals.
