The Myovant Sciences-Pfizer Alliance supports the global healthcare community’s independent initiatives (e.g., research, quality improvement, or education) to improve patient outcomes in areas of unmet medical need that are aligned with our joint medical and/or scientific strategies. The Myovant Sciences-Pfizer Alliance’s competitive grant program involves a publicly posted general Request for Proposal (RFP) that provides detail regarding general areas of interest, sets timelines for review and approval, and uses an internal review process to make final grant decisions. Organizations are invited to submit an application addressing the education gaps as outlined in the RFP.
General Areas of Interest and goals of the medical education:
•Training on patient preferences and adherence data regarding oral vs. parenteral oncologic therapy for prostate cancer
•Providing multidisciplinary care teams updates on Androgen Deprivation Treatment (ADT) options
•Increasing awareness of barriers to the delivery of equitable prostate cancer care and opportunities to improve ADT treatment across diverse populations
•Raising awareness of cardiovascular risk in patients with prostate cancer receiving ADT
•Differentiating the clinical significance of LHRH agonists vs. GnRH antagonists
It is not our intent to support clinical research projects. Projects evaluating the efficacy of therapeutic or diagnostic agents will not be considered.

• The following may apply: medical, nursing, allied health, and/or pharmacy professional schools; healthcare institutions (both large and small); professional associations and medical societies; medical education companies; and other entities with a mission related to healthcare professional education and/or healthcare improvement. • If the project involves multiple departments within an institution and/or between different institutions / organizations / associations, all institutions must have a relevant role and the requesting organization must have a key role in the project. • For projects offering continuing education credit, the requesting organization must be accredited.
Individual projects requesting up to $200,000 will be considered. Smaller grant amounts are highly encouraged. The estimated total available budget related to this RFP is $1,000,000 USD
