Research Fellowship Awards
The International Society for Heart and Lung Transplants offers Research Fellowship Awards. The purpose of the Fellowship is to support research training in heart and lung transplantation as well as end-stage heart and lung disease so as to encourage the development of clinical or basic science research in transplantation. Each award is in the amount of $40,000, for a period of one year.
Deadline: Jan. 14, 2019
- The applicant and the applicant's department head/division chief/research project director must be members of the ISHLT in good standing at the time of application and throughout the period of funding.
- The applicant must be in a clinical or post-doctoral training program and not yet have attained Board certification/accreditation/faculty level appointment (Assistant Professor equivalent or above)/salaried senior staff position (or equivalent) during the period of the award.
