Snowmobile Safety and Access Programs

The purpose of this proposed Cooperative Agreement is to provide technical assistance and support for snowmobile safety and access training and product development for Federal and State agencies and the general public.

The goals of this Agreement is to provide Snowmobile safety and access training and product development to assist Federal, State, and local land management agency staff, snowmobile volunteers, and the public and enhance trail management on Federal, State, local, and private lands through training and public information. Snowmobile safety training and related products will improve the safety and accessibility of snow trails and promote environmental protection and economic sustainability. This will promote enhanced snow trail use envisioned in the legislation authorizing the RTP, and also promote highway safety.

Eligibility Requirements

This competition is open to non-Federal entities, including State and local governments, foreign governments, colleges and universities, corporations, institutions, partnerships, sole proprietorships, and trade associations that are incorporated or established under the laws of any State, and Federal laboratories.
