The Spinal Cord Injury Model System (SCIMS) Centers provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary services to people with spinal cord injury as a prerequisite for conducting research that contributes to the development of and access to evidence-based rehabilitation with the ultimate goal of improving the health and function, community living and participation, and employment outcomes of people with spinal cord injury. The purpose of this SCIMS multi-site collaborative research project is to utilize the collaborative capacity of the SCIMS Centers to conduct high quality multi-site research toward improving outcomes of people with SCI. This grant will have a 60-month project period with five 12-month budget periods.
