The U.S. Department of State, Office of Policy, Planning, and Resources for the Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy (R/PPR) announces an open competition for organizations interested in submitting applications that support the U.S. Pavilion at the 2025 Osaka, Japan Expo.
Applicants may submit applications that meet one or both of the following objectives:
Objective 1. Enhance the experience by exposing a global audience to American culture through the selection and recruitment of live, in-person residency model cultural performers and guest speakers, representing the diversity of our country.
Objective 2. Create a cultural exchange and work opportunity by way of Youth Ambassadors to guide visitors through the U.S. pavilion.
Primary organizations can submit one application in response to the NOFO. Interested applicants from within Duke should contact fundopps@duke.edu as early as possible.
Deadline: Jan. 2, 2024
R/PPR welcomes applications from U.S.-based non-profit/non-governmental organizations with or without 501(c) (3) status of the U.S. tax code; private, public, or state institutions of higher education; and for-profit organizations or businesses.
Total Funding Floor: $3,000,000
Total Funding Ceiling: $6,500,000
