This notice announces the availability of funds and solicits applications from eligible entities to provide tribal training and technical support to tribal governments seeking to investigate, develop and establish air quality management programs for lands under their jurisdiction.

In accordance with CFDA 66.037, applications will be accepted from states, local governments, territories, Indian tribes, and possessions of the U.S., including the federally recognized Indian tribal government, District of Columbia, international organizations, public and private universities and colleges, hospitals, laboratories, and other public or private non-profit institutions.
The total estimated funding for this competitive opportunity is approximately $300,000 over 3 years. EPA anticipates awarding one cooperative agreement from this announcement, subject to availability of funds, the quality of applications received and other applicable considerations. The cooperative agreement will be funded incrementally over a period of 3 years. EPA estimates the first year of funding will be approximately $100,000. Additional funds may be added in each subsequent year of the agreement, subject to satisfactory performance and the availability of funds.
