Truist Financial Corporation has established a scholarship program to assist current undergraduate and graduate students who plan to continue their education at an accredited college or university in the Raleigh/Charlotte, North Carolina and Atlanta, Georgia areas.
Preference will be given to students who demonstrate interest in banking, risk management, cyber or digital forensics as evidenced by activities, academic studies, etc.
This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

Applicants to the Truist Cyber Innovation Scholarship Program must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
- Be currently enrolled full-time as a sophomore, junior, senior, or first year graduate student at an accredited college or university in the Raleigh/Charlotte, North Carolina and Atlanta, Georgia areas.
- Plan to continue to be enrolled in full-time undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited college or university in the Raleigh/Charlotte areas of North Carolina and Atlanta Georgia areas during the 2023-2024 academic year.
- Have a declared major in computer science, math, analytics, data analytics or related area of study with the intention to work in banking, risk management, cyber or digital forensics following graduation.
- Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent).
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award ranging from $1,000 to $10,000.
